Wasserman is looking for a motivated individual to join the Wasserman Strategy & Consulting team on a global technology account. The role will support the day-to-day management of a priority partnership, developing and executing core sponsorship deliverables and general project management across multiple workstreams.
Duties:
- Part of the core day-to-day management team responsible for managing a large global sponsorship agreement with direct responsibility for overseeing various deliverables tied to several priority strategic initiatives and indirect responsibility supporting internal teams on additional initiatives.
- Assists with project management responsibilities on certain workstreams including but not limited to sponsorship measurement, hospitality planning, creative deliverables, merchandise programs and activation plans.
- Works collaboratively with a diverse set of client teams with whom we report to directly as well as help manage other client teams we support indirectly. Comfort working across multiple global time zones results in meetings that may happen before or after traditional close of business.
- Coordinates workstreams across a large integrated account team spanning multiple departments within the agency.
- Responsible for helping manage budget processes and tracking of expenses, delivering conference call reports and general account status reports.
- Building and maintaining evaluation models for new opportunities inclusive of new sponsorship opportunities as well as talent partnerships.
- Monitors media, trends and changing sports, entertainment and cultural landscape to keep company executives and team members aware and to maintain Wasserman’s position as the most knowledgeable in the industry.
- Stays up to date on client product / service offering and is able to thoughtfully present to potential partners.
- Learns and manages client-facing project management systems and legal processes for the purposes of supporting the creation and approval of different project documents.
- Performs research and analysis of various demographics and statistics to help inform strategies and initiatives.
- Maintains positive relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
- Comfortable with working in-office 3 to 4 days a week.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
- 6+ years relevant experience with minimum 4 years of direct experience in account and project management (preferably with experience in soccer and/or technology/consumer electronics/AI verticals).
- Relevant experience supporting an account(s) across multiple regions of the globe.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly with PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Must be able to multi-task and self-manage to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
- Experience working “in the grey” due to the dynamic nature of our client’s business and ways of working.
- Must be flexible and comfortable to assume multiple roles as needed by the team.
- Possess exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
- Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
- Ability to think creatively in a team environment.
- Must be flexible and react calmly under stressful circumstances.
- Comfortable with travel and working the occasional odd hour.
