JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a Director of Approvals to join the design team with the responsibility for managing design operations and approvals for the FIFA World Cub 26™ Official Hospitality program.
This critical role ensures that all design assets developed internally and externally strictly adhere to FIFA’s brand guidelines and legal standards that are required for approval prior to production.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Act as the main point of contact for all creative approvals while reporting directly to the VP, Design
- Ensure all design assets strictly adhere to FIFA’s brand guidelines and legal standards as you safeguard the integrity of the FIFA World Cub 26™ brand in a variety of print and digital applications
- Manage the end-to-end approval process for all design materials developed between internal and external teams and vendors
- Work collaboratively with project managers, designers, and cross functional partners to ensure timely information is communicated in order to meet strict deadlines
- Ensure timely delivery of design assets for approval within production timelines
- Maintain comprehensive approval guidelines and documentation across all design development and the review and approval process to ensure a smooth and transparent approval workflow
- Provide detailed feedback on required revisions to ensure design materials are updated for consistency, quality, and compliance
- Serve as the guardian of FIFA’s brand guidelines, regularly updating teams and partners of any changes or new standards
- Develop strong and collaborative internal and external communications
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
WHO YOU ARE
- Highly motivated, organized, detail oriented, and a self-starter with extensive experience in design approvals, project management, and brand management
- Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
- Strong PowerPoint presentation design skills
- 5+ Years experience working with design teams and event production partners focused on the brand experience within the physical space
- Experience working on large-scale sporting events
- Ability to handle various challenges and roadblocks within the design process, ensuring solutions align with internal and external stakeholder priorities, brand standards, budgets, and deadlines
- Ability to meticulously review design and production details for quality assurance
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing a high volume of work under tight deadlines
- Calm under pressure, collaborative, consistent, and flexible
GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience using PageProof or other approval-based software
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency
- Knowledge of FIFA regulations and standards related to marketing and hospitality
- Adobe Creative Suite knowledge
Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the range shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.
Hiring Range Minimum:
$101,250 annually
Hiring Range Maximum:
$135,000 annually
