PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Showing an in-depth understanding of the brand’s clinical data, therapeutic category, current and pipeline competitive threats.
- Conducting continuous competitive surveillance, and sharing findings with the internal team (and clients, when applicable)
- Creating and present medical backgrounders to internal team members, and updating the team of new trends, relevant news, etc as needed.
- Working with Brand Strategy to review brand positioning, market shaping, and briefs for medical accuracy.
- Attending relevant scientific congresses for brands, and presenting clinical trends, findings, and brand implications to the internal team (and client, when applicable).
- Attending advisory boards, and other scientific meetings, and sharing brand implications to the internal team (and clients, when applicable)
- Build client trust by serving as the imre brand expert on the disease state and clinical data, and show an understanding of current and pipeline competitive threats.
- Act as agency Medical lead during MLR review process for bigger Creative projects.
- Work closely with Medical leads on pitches, and provide support through in-depth clinical research, recruitment of KOLs and development of discussion guide. Take detailed notes during KOL and HCP interviews.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Advanced life sciences degree required: PharmD, PhD, or MD (or equivalent)
- 3+ years of healthcare agency experience
- Pharma experience a must across HCP & DTC
- AOR promo advertising experience a must
- Attention to detail, ensuring consistency, continuity, and medical accuracy
- Communicates ideas and thoughts clearly
- Identifies medical inaccuracies and works to provide solutions proactively
- Works effectively and collaboratively with other team members
