As the Sr. Analyst, Analytics & Insights, reporting to the Group Director, Analytics & Insights, you will take a key supporting role within the A&I segment in the analysis and development of commercialization and sponsorship intelligence and strategy for brands and rights holders
You will:
- Conduct background research for portfolio optimization, activation strategy and other similar strategy projects by using internal, public and syndicated sources
- Analyze sponsorship competitive data to identify trends and opportunities for clients
- Assist in the preparation of client deliverables by visualizing data, integrating information from various sources, identifying key themes and working with the project team to deliver the key insights that inform strategic recommendations
- Conduct analysis and build reports to help our internal teams and client partners understand the performance of existing marketing investments and viability of prospective sponsorships that align with their budgets, business objectives, etc.
- Maintain relevant databases, including but not limited to: data entry, fact-checking, data quality checks and the evaluation of the validity, reliability and usefulness of information collected
- Manage select vendor relationships as day-to-day product liaison and expert
- Educate team and disseminates vendor updates and product info to ensure relevant internal users are maximizing subscriptions / resources
You Have:
- 3-5 years of professional experience
in analytics. Agency experience strongly preferred.
- BA/BS degree in relevant field (business, marketing, analytics, or social sciences) required.
- Experience with sponsorship analytics processes and methodologies, including but not limited to sponsorship valuation, return on objectives (ROO) modeling, and other sponsorship or media evaluation models
- Ability to identify trends and uncover insights from large data sets
- Experience visualizing complex data in easily understood charts and graphs
- Experience with business intelligence and/or syndicated research/analytics tools (i.e. Tableau, Nielsen, MRI, YouGov, Statista, Global Web Index, etc.) a plus but not required
This hybrid role is based in our fabulous Chicago office, but has a global reach
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $65-75K, and includes an annual bonus potential of 7.5%.
