The Role:
The Operations Supervisor provides essential support across all operational needs associated with the successful planning, production, and delivery of an exclusive hospitality experience in Milan during the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. This role supports the Operations Director by handling various tasks, including event planning, documentation, partner coordination, supplier interactions, and on-site event execution. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills, clear communication abilities, and adaptability to meet dynamic event requirements.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Assist the Operations Director with planning and managing meetings, partner coordination, and communications.
- Prepare, manage, and maintain critical documentation, including agendas, meeting minutes, reports, and action plans using shared digital platforms.
- Provide prompt and effective support in responding to client requests, particularly regarding event materials and related production needs.
- Assist in managing vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring timely coordination of materials and services.
- Support monitoring of event operations budgets, proactively identifying and reporting any discrepancies.
- Support coordinating event production logistics, including setup, execution, and dismantling, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Support the Operations Director with sustainability initiatives and practices related to event operations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in event operations, hospitality or event environments.
- Fluency in Italian and English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
- Proficiency with digital collaboration tools, event management software, and standard productivity applications.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Commitment to sustainability and experience with sustainable practices in event operations is preferred.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules require.

- Background in event operations, hospitality management, or related fields.
- Experience with Italian supplier relationship management and material production.
- Interest and experience in sustainability initiatives within event operations.
