Position Overview
The Commercial Strategy Analyst will support data-driven decision-making and revenue optimization efforts across the Combat Sports & Golf businesses. This role will work cross-functionally with various teams to deliver actionable insights through reporting, analysis, and process support, helping improve pricing, sales, and operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is analytically curious, highly organized, and excited to contribute to strategic initiatives with tangible business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting & Analytics
- Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
- Support the broader Commercial Strategy & Revenue Optimization team in compiling and validating ticket sales, pricing, and inventory data for regular and ad hoc reporting.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity, consistency, and timeliness across report and contribute to automation efforts for recurring reports and processes.
- Revenue Optimization
- Support analysis of ticket pricing strategies and product performance to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
- Assist in the maintenance of sales forecasting and pricing models in collaboration with Pricing and Product teams.
- Monitor event sales trends and performance against forecast to identify optimization opportunities.
- Sales Channel Strategy & Optimization
- Conduct performance analysis of various sales channels and marketing initiatives.
- Help develop models and reports that support decision-making around product launches and promotional strategies.
- Risk & Performance Monitoring
- Track key event and sales metrics throughout the sales cycle to identify potential risks and assist with mitigation planning.
- Provide data-driven insights to support profitability and revenue targets.
- Stakeholder Support
- Prepare presentation materials and summary reports for internal meetings and external partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Ticketing, Sales, Finance, and Marketing, to support strategic initiatives.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, data science, marketing, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, revenue management, or strategy support (internship experience acceptable).
- Proficiency with Excel and at least one BI/reporting tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Basic experience with SQL and data querying for reporting and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with an interest in applying data to solve business problems.
- Clear and concise communicator with attention to detail and the ability to summarize findings for stakeholders.
- A proactive team player with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the range shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. $63,750 annually
