SVP Media
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Set the vision and goals for the practice, working closely with agency leadership
- Build and lead a media team rooted in digital best practices and ready to tackle the emerging media buying and planning landscape
- Work closely with agency operations to implement and manage sound financial management processes and systems
- Lead new business and organic growth opportunities, playing a key role in integrated teams while providing a unique media perspective
- Lead the agency’s transition from Social AOR into a true full-service advertising agency with a robust paid media capability
- Work closely with creative, production and strategy teams to devise groundbreaking campaigns that take full advantage of today’s tech-driven media landscape
- Maintain a pulse on the evolving social media landscape, partnering with the social team on paid support best practices
- Keep the team and agency on the cutting edge of adtech by developing and nurturing relationships with partners
- Work with teams of analysts and strategists to measure and communicate the impact and effectiveness of advertising programs
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
- 12+ years of experience, particularly in Pharma across both DTC & HCP targets
- Hands-on experience executing, managing and planning media across the digital landscape, including:
- Social - Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, X (Twitter), LinkedIn
- Google/YouTube
- DSPs via hands-on keyboard or managed service partnerships
- Network of contacts across most prominent partners
- Proven track record leading teams of media buyers and planners to deliver industry-beating results
- Basic knowledge and understanding of reporting systems and tools like Google Data Studio and Google/Adobe Analytics
- Agency Pharma experience required
