Wasserman Marketing is looking for a motivated individual to join a Brands Retainer Client team for a key technology client in a Performance & Insights role. This position will support the development and implementation of partnership measurement and audience intelligence programs across client partnerships and assist in the management of assets for key partnerships
This role is based in Los Angeles, CA. Candidates must be willing to relocate if they are not currently based there.
Duties:
- Utilize proprietary tools to determine partnership value to client and make strategic recommendations based on returns
- Conduct primary research to understand the impact on consumer brand attitudes
- Support the development of client deliverables, POV’s, reporting tools, and supporting materials that blend our multiple capabilities and data sources to deliver clear, concise, and actionable insights
- Assemble ideas, themes, and observations into compelling visuals through design-forward client presentations
- Leverage syndicated research to develop a deeper understanding of a client’s target audience(s), and provide insights that inform creative, experiential, and partnership strategy
- Process and analyze data from custom research methodologies including, but not limited to, consumer surveying, brand health, and partnership impact
- Coordinate the planning, shipment, and tracking of product inventory across a wide variety of technology integration, giveaway and product seeding opportunities
- Lead day-to-day management of select NFL Clubs partnerships under the supervision of managers and other team members – managing deliverables of contracted assets, executing key client activation, and fielding incoming requests
- Develop and refine client deliverables such as presentations, POVs, reports, and other strategic materials.
- Ensure quality standards, operational processes, and timelines are consistently met across all client projects.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience, including internships, in data analytics, market research, or strategy, preferably in the sport and entertainment industry
- Familiarity / experience in interpreting quantitative and qualitative data to form top-line insights and recommendations
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders, specifically in the form of data-visualization, analysis, and written deliverables
- A basic understanding of market research and intelligence tools (e.g., Nielsen, Vividata, Scarborough, GWI, Meltwater, etc.)
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills particularly required for PowerPoint and Excel
- Up-to-date knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry
- High level of initiative and innate curiosity, willingness to push projects forward with little direction
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized, with a proven ability to multi-task and self-manage to meet deadlines and handle competing priorities
- Must be flexible and comfortable to assume multiple roles as needed by the team.
- Able to carry out responsibilities with minimal direction.
Base salary: $68,640, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
