THE ROLE
The Production Manager will oversee all technical and logistical aspects of the venue, ensuring seamless coordination between artist teams, scenic design/install vendors, in-house crew, and venue operations. This role requires strong technical knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and experience working in high volume music or event venues - ideally with experience in immersive or scenic-heavy environments. This position will report to the General Manager. This position is required to work late nights into early mornings, every Friday and Saturday and other weekdays as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead all aspects of event production including audio, lighting, video, back of house and scenic setup
- Manage and execute artist technical riders, ensuring feasibility within the venue capabilities
- Manage scenic designers, riggers, and vendors to install, strike and maintain scenic and immersive elements safely and on schedule
- Advance shows with tour management and technical staff; ensure accurate, up-to-date information is distributed across internal departments
- Oversees show timelines, load-ins/outs, soundchecks, and all production logistics during events
- Manage in-house and freelance production crews, including A/V techs, stagehands and scenic teams
- Serve as primary liaison with third-party vendors (lighting, LED walls, scenic design, rentals, etc.)
- Lead pre-event production meetings and post-show debriefs
- Ensure all production comply with local fire codes, safety regulations, and ADA standards
- Manage risk assessments, especially for large scenic elements or aerial/rigging components
- Manage inspections and approvals as needed for various builds
- Develop and manage show-specific and seasonal production budgets
- Track expenses, reconcile invoices, and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality
- Maintain and inventory all venue production and assets
- Train and provide support in onboarding team members, clients, vendors and partners when needed
- All other projects and initiatives as identified
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years in live event or concert production management
- Experience with scenic elements, immersive builds, or themed environments strongly preferred
- Proficient with technical rider review, stage plots, lighting plots, and A/V systems
- Calm under pressure, with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of rigging and structure safety
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
- OSHA 10/30 cert is a plus
- Approachable, genuine, knowledgeable, encouraging, passionate, and committed to helping customers
- Flexible schedule with the willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent English comprehension (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work long hours
- Ability to work in loud/bright environments (lasers, flashing lights, etc.)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments
- Must be willing to travel to work and travel to events during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines and work events

Salary Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 USD
